Hi, my name is Chris Greenwood. I am a Principal Engineer at Amazon Web Services. I currently work on the serverless compute infrastructure that underpins Lambda, serverless containers, and serverless data analytics products. Before my time in serverless I worked in Elastic Block Store in the placement and capacity management space.

I am originally from Virginia but now live in Seattle, Washington with my wife and two young sons. I enjoy skiing, biking, squash (the sport, less so the food), craft beer, and homemade cocktails.
